Hood 2 Coast Relay: Twenty of our ATI employees took place in the Hood 2 Coast relay race in Washington state. This is known as the “mother of all relays” and consists of a team running 198 miles from Mount Hood to the Coast of the Pacific Ocean. John Henjum, an ECLP Engineer currently at Forged Products, described it as “an awesome time, with little sleep, and lots of memories made along the way.” The two teams included members like John from multiple business unites, and they raised over $13,000 to be donated to the Providence Cancer Institute. Golf Tournament: ATI Specialty Alloys & Components hosted a charity golf tournament in July. The tournament raised over $2,000 towards Fish’n the Brave, an organization that treats veterans to a day of fishing on the Columbia River. This trip includes top of the line equipment, boats, and captains. ATI values our veterans and the valuable skills they bring from their service to the workplace, while honoring the work they have done to protect our country . Congrats to our winners – Scott, Jason, Kyle & Tyler.

Charity Walks: This year, employees across ATI have been participating in Charity Walks. The Specialty Rolled Products team and their family and friends participated in the Pittsburgh Susan G Komen 5k to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. Also in Pittsburgh, ATI Enterprise Resource Center participated in the Walk for Children’s Hospital, supporting our team’s family members who have benefitted from the care received at the hospital.
